MUMBAI: Three band members filed an anticipatory bail plea in a sessions court, after a case was filed against them for cheating Australian cricketer Brett Lee. The matter will be heard on Friday. Next Level Media Communications, a PR agency, filed a complaint with the MRA Marg police that Arundhati Deshmukh (25), a singer, Ameya Naik (30), a composer and Vignesh Vishwanth (26), an MNC staffer, cheated Lee of Rs 10 lakh.
Deshmukh said the agency told her to perform with Lee for free, but the agency said the band approached Lee and owed him money.
